Check out the Next Stage Theatre Festival at the Factory Theatre at Bathurst and Adelaide. Shows are selected by the same people who bring you the Fringe Festival, Toronto's largest theatre festival.
January 16
London's West End comes to Toronto with the premiere of Jerry Springer - The Opera. The award winning musical runs at Hart House theatre until January 31st.
January 18
Still looking to fill that schedule? Today is the last day to add S section courses on ROSI.
January 20
After eight years, wave goodbye to W - it's Inauguration Day in the USA.
January 21
Sunny days may be far off, but the summer job hunt is on. Snag one early with the help of the Summer Job Fair at the Career Centre. Hosted from 11am-2pm, representatives from a variety of fields will be on hand so be sure to bring that resume.
January 23
Boldly go where no student has gone before at the 6th Annual Expanding Canada's Frontiers Symposium, hosted by UofT's Astronomy and Space Exploration Society. Students can attend for free and doors open at 6pm.
January 26-30
Take a tour around the world with Vic Goes Global, this year's International Week. Events include a study abroad fair, international film festival, and dance workshops, and will be topped off by VUSAC's Masquerade Charity Ball.
January 30 - February 12
Sample some of Toronto's finest cuisine in its trendiest restaurants. Featuring various prix fixe menus, Winterlicious is the perfect treat for foodies and those who like to dine in style, for cheap! For more info visit www.toronto.com/winterlicious for participating restaurants.
