Baubo, the zine published by UofT's Centre for Women and Trans People, is accepting submissions from poetry and fiction, to manifestos and reviews. Deadline is December 5. For more information,contact baubozine@gmail.com

Witness the journey of five Chinese Canadian young men - a.k.a. The Banana Boys - as they struggle with their place in modern Canadian society. Staged at Hart House Theatre, students can catch the show for $12.

November 14
Maude Barlow, the UN's Senior Advisor on Water Issues, presents "Blue Covenant," a talk on the global water crisis and the coming battle for the right to water. 7 - 9pm in the Great Hall at Hart House.

November 14-16
The wait is finally over. After closing for major renovations, the Frank Gehry-designed AGO will open its doors the evening of November 14th. Admission is free throughout the weekend.

November 16
He's back! The Santa Claus Parade brings early Christmas cheer to the streets of Toronto starting at 12:30pm. TTC is offering free transit throughout the afternoon.

November 20
Reserve your seat for a free lecture by MoMA Director Glenn Lowry at the ROM. The New Yorker will discuss art in a global context in his talk Oil and Sugar: Art and Islamic Culture.

November 21
New York, Paris, Milan....and Church Street? "Off the Rack" is a spoof on an ordinary fashion show that will explore themes like power, gender, and sexuality. Hosted at Goodhandy's, the show will feature local female designers.

November 24-27
